It's been a week since I started this 12WBT and I did so so well for the first part of it, lost 2.7, so well in fact that I thought 'Man I'm doing so well, I think I can let my hair down a bit, just a bit...' It's not been an easy week and a half, let me tell you! The stars are NOT aligned and there have been a LOT of challenges, firstly I had to take a quick trip home and this blew the diet, well not overly I am making better choices in what I eat so thats a start! Then I went to visit my Granny and we went out for lunch, that didnt go so well, now I'm back at home and I haven't been really sticking to the diet, I do count my calories so that's good I guess.
My main problem is WILL-POWER! I think I've done well this past week why can't I have that little bit of bread... Well I can tell you why, coz I signed up to this thing and I need to take responsibility for my life, I need to get back on track, I need to do this!!
Oh crap that's right I'm off home again this weekend for a friends birthday (at the pub might I add) and then I'm off to Perth for 6 days, PLEASE let me do this, let me stay on track and actually prove to myself that I can do this and loose weight even though the odds are against me!
Thanks for allowing me to get this off my chest, these blogs are good for that!

Measuring Up!
Ah so here we go, no hiding now! I'm on the road to finding out my fate and how much weight I actually need to lose.
So I head to K-Mart and buy myself some bathroom scales, I wake up in the morning, do my wee (Michelle says so people!) and get on the scales stark naked. I close my eyes, look down and breathe a sigh of relief! I don't actually weigh as much as I thought (GREAT!!) but this wont stop me, hell no it wont I'm still going to do this, lose this weight and tone up (maybe) and look fabo!
So? You might ask... Well here it is:
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 72.3
Chest: 100.5
Waist: 99
Hips: 105.5
Right Thigh: 59.5
Left Thigh: 62.5
Right Arm: 30.5
Left Arm: 32
So there we go, no more hiding!
Oh and I need to point out I walked around the TAN! Yep I did it, with a friend's help I actually got up the guts and walked around the Botanical Gardens! For the record it took approx 45 mins and I want to get this to 30 mins so then I can walk it twice for my exercise. Let's do this people, let's get HEALTHY!!

The beginning!
So here I am, signed up for the 'Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation'
I am
Next step was the Pre-Season Tasks: I found these easy, inspiring actually until I got to the part where I had to go through my cupboard and throw out all the 'BAD' foods! 'Stuff that' I thought, 'I'm going to eat them', so I did, well I still am actually but it is safe to say I didnt have too much, just a packet of chips or 2 and about 4 easter eggs, yep I still had them from Easter but I'm not taking any chances so I'm eating them as I write thinking, err this isnt what I'm meant to do, how is this a good start to the season...
The next Pre-Season Task I found challenging was the 'Fitness Test' AHHHHHHH!!!!!
I must point out that I have a lower back condition that at times is crippling, some afternoons I can hardly walk but I swear to god it will not stop me! I will also point out that I know that I am a beginner so.... well I didn't actually do the fitness test I know I cant do all those situps etc etc but what I do know is I can walk, I can swim and I CAN do Pilates! This will be my exercise program! So I went to find a walking track...
It was a lovely day, baby was sleepy and it was a good time to put her in pram and go for a walk, so I change into my walking shoes, drive to the selected area, let the dog out of the car, walk to the park where dog manages to poo about 7 times in 5 minutes and off we go. Baby is asleep, dogs under control (well a little bit) and my shoes are not rubbing! So I look on my map think to myself 'This looks easy, I'll walk here then around there then back again! GREAT LET'S DO IT!' Then... I get lost, end up on a bridge, look at my map and think well the track seems to join up so let's keep on going! Then I end up on this track near the river and it's like a BMX track, tree roots, rocks, major indentations from bikes and the amount of effort I need to push the pram is crazy. I meet a runner coming in the opposite direction and she says 'God No! You'll never get past the fallen down tree, the flood over the track and all the crazy bike riders coming in the opposite direction' So she gives me her map and I turn around, pram nearly slipping off track into the river and dog nearly choking! So back I go... to another track, 'this looks easy' I think again. Man was I wrong I must have picked the one track that goes straight up, I get to the top, I must add here that the track was very rocky as well! Look on my map and walk up the road, back down a paved track, over the bridge and to the cafe where I had a banana smoothie! I was knacked! 'Damn I thought, what are the gods trying to tell me?' Ah that's it; stick to paved tracks and all will be well!! Oh by the way baby slept all through this dilemma, probably good as there was a few bad words coming out of my mouth!
So all in all my first few challenges were let me put it nicely 'challenging!!'
Now for the last one which is being released tomorrow and it's the one I am most excited about 'MEASURING UP!!' This is where we measure and weigh ourselves and I am excited by this coz there will be NO hiding! This is crunch time and I am ready to do some crunching!!
Adios from
